Premiership betting tip, Liverpool Vs Tottenham, Monday 8th February 2012

What’s happening on Monday the 6th February at 8PM GMT? Kenny Dalglish and Harry Redknapp go head-to-head on Monday as Liverpool take on Tottenham at home. Both teams last 5 result look quite similar and the game looks evenly matched. A good Premiership football betting opportunity.

Both teams score and concede a similar number of goals. I might seem strange that Tottenham go into the game as underdogs even though they are playing well away from home. Using the Soccer Storm football stats software it’s possible to see that Tottenham’s away team ratings dominate Liverpool’s home team rating.  Tottenham have a small away team advantage, but Liverpool have played marginally better over the last 5 games.  Notably Liverpool beat Man United and drew with Man City.   Whereas Tottenham lost to Man City and lost to Man United earlier in the season.

Premiership tip 2012

Premiership betting tip, Liverpool Vs Tottenham, Monday 8th February 2012unratedEditor2012-02-03 11:02:12Liverpool have not lost a game at home in the last 5 games, but, on some measures Tottenham have a dominant away team advantage. This suggests that Tottenham look like a good bet to win the game. Tottenham enter the game as underdogs and have attractive odds. The football stats indicate a good opportunity to use a betting bonus to profit from the game.

Bet365 betting bonus withdrawal requirements

A reader contacted Let’s Compare Bets.com recently and asked about the Bet365 betting bonus. For those who didn’t know Bet365 is one of the world’s largest online gaming companies. Founded in a portakabin in Stoke on Trent. Now the companies has over 6 millions customers in more than 200 companies. It is no surprise that the Bet365 betting bonus is on of the most generous. Bet365 offer a £200 betting bonus on various markets.

James (our reader) asked “how many bets must you you place before you can withdraw your bet from Bet365?”

To claim the old Bet365 free bet or betting bonus customers needed to wager a number of bets in order to make them eligible. Now changed the bonus offer is more simple. Instead of having to make one bet to claim another free bet it has been simplified to a 100% matched deposit bonus.   To withdraw the account balance the initial deposit and the bonus needs to be bet through three times. The bookmaker will match the first deposit up to £200. Effectively a new customer could have up to £400 in their account to start betting.

Here are the other important points about the Bet365 betting bonus.

  • The initial deposit called the qualifying deposit and the bonus amount needs to be wagered 3 times before withdrawal.
  • Any sports markets can be used.
  • This exact offer is available to UK and republic of Ireland customers.  It is similar to new customers from other countries but not exactly the same.
  • It is for people who make regular bets because the balance needs to be played through 3 times within 90 days otherwise it’s forfeited.   After doing so, customers can reduce their betting.  The betting promotions are also very generous for existing customers as well.

If this isn’t the betting bonus you where looking for have a look at some of the others on our betting bonus page.

Premiership betting, goals galore, the draw and soccer stats

Goals galore over the weekend, with Tottenham Hotspur conceeding a painful defeat with 5 goals going to Man City, at home. It wasn’t just Man City, Man United where in the game of destroying their opponents with goals as well. Bookmakers where fast to react and have started a series of goal based promotions. William Hill have a 100+ goal bet available as well as a team to score more than 9 goals bet.

It’s easy to get carried away with all these goals, but in fact, the most common goal result this season has been 0 – 0 draws.  Six goaless draws in 29 games. Betting on the 0 – 0 result in every game would have produced a nice profit.

A complete guide to football betting on the 2011/12 Premeirship season.  Download this guide free courtesy of Secret Betting Club.  There is something for everyone.  Including some great tips using research carried out on home / away team results, which is as good as the tips in this post.  It will open in the browser window (otherwise right click and select save as, then open once saved).

Another idea with a goal betting theme is betting on the draw and using a progressive staking plan. Each time a draw doesn’t come simply double the stake until a draw comes. The essence of this bet trading strategy is that the eventual winning bets, when they come, cover all the loses, the stake and produce a profit. The longer a team goes without scoring any goals the longer the odds and the bigger the payout. This strategy will only work when the odds are more than equal. As long as the odds don’t go below decimal odds of 2 then it is a good strategy.

The teams which are yet to draw are Man Utd, Man City, Bolton, Everton, QPR, West Brom, Blackburn and Tottenham. The longer they go with out drawing the more likely a draw will be. Man Utd and Man City are not worth punting for the draw, becuase, they are just to good at winning. Unless they are playing each other possibly, but even then it probably isn’t worth it. With three games without a draw the other teams look good. Don’t forget to start with a low stake because teams can sometimes go nearly a whole season without a draw!

Man United Vs Man City in the Charity Shield, goal betting for the 2011 premiership season

The start of the 2011 Barclay’s (mustn’t forget the sponsors) Premiership season is here. It’s the Charity Shield, Man City Vs Man United, Sunday 7th August 2011. As the teams ‘bed in’ it’s time to watch closely how they play. Will Man United play like they did last year, with an impeccable defensive record? Can Man City match Chelsea’s defensive record this season? This post digs a little deeper and give the goal betting enthusiasts some interesting information.

Joe Hart, goal keeper at Man City, is the highest scored goal keeper in the Fantasy Football team leagues for the latest premiership season. Points are awarded to goalies that keep the most clean sheets, amoungst other things. That’s not to say that they are the best but are part of the best defensive unit: that’s Mid Field, Defence and goal keeper.

Looking at performance just on the basis of clean sheets Manchester United’s number 1 David de Gea is top. 58 clean sheets in the past three seasons. That’s if Man United’s defensive performance wasn’t good enough anyway; they hold the joint best defensive record with Chelsea over the same period; 89 goals in 114 games.

Over the past three season Patrice Evra of Man United is also one of the best full backs based on Fantasy League points. Incidently Fantasy League points are made up of clean sheets, goals conceded, goals, and assists.

What has this lead us to beleive about Man City playing Manchester United in the Charity Shield?

Fantasy League points records can be helpful with football betting. It’s almost like a football rating system. No doubt there is probably a way to turn Fantasy Football points into a football betting ratings.
